This place has a stunning environment with beautiful design curated by talented local Oaxacans. The exceptional staff, including Rafe and Max, are incredibly friendly and responsive. Enjoy cocktails by the pool while soaking in amazing views. Just be prepared for a bit of a trek to the city center, as it’s a steep hill!

The staff was very nice,, always going out of their way to make us feel at home. One night, Rafael took the time to recommend local eateries that we never would’ve found on our own, turning our meals into real adventures!

Staying at Flavia was a amazing experience with its very nice views and fine decor. I appreciated the beautifully curated environment designed by local talents. While the restaurant had room for improvement, the unique experience made up for any flaws. I'd definitely recommend it for a tranquil retreat!

However, the remote location made exploring the area somewhat challenging, and accessing the hotel was not as smooth as I had hoped. Additionally, nighttime noise from the restaurant detracted from an otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Staying on the lower ground floor is not recommended due to the noise from the restaurant above, which can disrupt early sleep plans. The food, while beautiful, doesn't compare to what you can find at nearby restaurants, feeling more like an attempt at glamour rather than substance. The hotel's location is about a 20-minute trek from the town center, which may be inconvenient for those planning organized activities.
